Abstract

The preventive facilities of the temporary detention centers for juvenile offenders and special educational institutions of a closed type are revealed in the article. The problems of the legislative
regulation of the procedure for placing juveniles in them are analyzed. The category of minors committing administrative offences and the preventive measures applied to them are considered. In order to encourage the law-abiding behavior of the minors committing administrative offences, as well as to strengthen the interdepartmental interaction when considering the issue of sending juveniles to special closed-type educational institutions, it is proposed to amend the Federal Law “On Principles of the System of the
Prevention of Juvenile Neglect and Delinquency” and the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
