Abstract

The presence of defects of complex actual compositions in regulatory legal acts can lead to negative social and legal consequences. In this regard, it is difficult to overestimate the
importance of their study. The article deals with the concept, essence and varieties of defects of complex actual compositions. The characteristics of the types of defects of complex actual compositions
are given, depending on the type of regulatory system in which they are available; the subject of legal regulation; the sources of law in which they are reflected; the types of violated requirements and rules; their legal significance; the information about the stage of legal regulation at which they were identified, and other criteria. As a result of the conducted research, it is concluded that the correct
understanding of the nature of the defects of complex actual compositions, as well as the detailed characteristics, are the necessary prerequisites for the organization of effective work on their detection
and overcoming (elimination) and, as a result, optimization of these compositions. Specific methods of detection and overcoming (elimination) of defects of complex actual compositions are revealed.
